The question is excellent but still malformed. It assumes people *should* have a meaningful life. All of biology is outdated technology. The ability to acquire energy to move matter in order to make improved copies of self to accelerate this conversion of free energy to “copies of self” is the meaning of “life”. We do not have a moral right to slow this process down.
